It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

That it took until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to hold a record if not afforded the opportunity.

The question of whether this latest epic knock surpassed that earlier display can be debated.

Some will argue the argument supporting the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the difficulty that comes when confronting a historic chase and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

What's definite is this century was considerably tougher to see coming.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at a World Cup - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed Australia needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can succeed."

These statements will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a major tournament.
